What the client needed
A Suffolk arable farm needed to refurbish a fleet of cultivation equipment before the season. The machinery had significant surface rust across frames, tines and linkage components. The client wanted a clean, paint-ready surface without the cost and logistics of transporting equipment to a blast facility.
How we approached it
We brought our mobile laser system to the farm and treated all equipment on-site over two days. The laser removed surface rust and mill scale to achieve Sa 2.5 cleanliness, creating an ideal anchor profile for the new coating system.
